Join the Georgetown Library for a special program on Thursday, April 25, from 6 to 7 pm. The event, titled "Poet at Any Age," will be presented by Professor Kathryn Temple of Georgetown University. Do you think you're too old, too young, or too busy to write poetry? Ms. Temple will share techniques for getting started in poetry at any age and under any circumstances. She'll cover advice for the novice, look at a few contemporary poets, and share information about the surprisingly vast online poetry community. We'll close with a short writing session where you'll generate a poem to take home with you. Come write a poem with us!
This program is being funded by the Georgetown Library Friends.
